Terms and conditions for website usage
Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website, Maison Fay items are made from vintage textiles, in some cases decades old. There may be natural slubs in the fabrics, stains or marks.

We will always try to cut the materials in such a way that these are not included but can’t absolutely guarantee a blemish free product. Each item is unique, due to the nature of the source material, and cannot be replicated. Items will be as described on the website, and fit for purpose.

Each garment will be dispatched with laundry instructions. We cannot be liable for damage or change if they are washed in another way.

We will dispatch goods, Monday to Friday, within 4 days of cleared payment, unless stated on the website that times will be later due to holidays or other circumstances. We would prefer payment by Paypal, but until the end of 2011 will accept personal cheques if you prefer.

Maison Fay goods are available at Fairs and some shops where the mark up is flexible and out of our control.Therefore, prices may vary. If you buy from the website, you will pay the website price whether that is higher or lower than other outlets.

We want our customers to be happy with their purchase, so will try to resolve any problems if you contact us, but, will refund or exchange under the following circumstances: The item must be returned unworn and in its original condition. The customer must pay return postage.


Items will be sent by First Class Mail. We will get a certificate of postage for your, and our, protection. We can’t however be liable for problems arising from the Post Office due to disputes or their service being disrupted. Postage rates will be in line with official Post Office guidelines 
and will be clearly shown on the checkout page of the website.
